Aylish Arana, Field Techinician
Aylish Arana started her Eventing career at the age of six with trainer Pat McFarland in Mendocino County. From an early age, it was apparent that her love for horses and competing would be lifelong.
In 2008 after attending Cabrillo College in Santa Cruz, Aylish started working in the veterinary industry at Aptos Creek-side Pet Hospital, a small animal hospital. For a period of time, she worked for a mobile equine veterinarian in Santa Cruz and had always wanted to make her living in the equine industry completely.
Currently, Aylish works part time for Pan-Am gold medalist Shannon Lilley managing many of the daily needs of the horses including riding and much of the rehabilitation work as well as some basic chores.
Jenny Zanger, Field Technician
Jenny grew up in Santa Cruz, CA where she started riding at a young age. She developed a love for jumping which eventually brought her to The Horse Park at Woodside where she for a long time rode with trainer Laura Mauck.
Even when Jenny wasn’t riding, she always found a way to surround herself with horses. Before working for us, she worked for an equine veterinary practice in Santa Cruz for close to 3 years.
Jenny now lives in Hollister, CA with her husband, her dog Yeti, and her OTTB named Saint. With Saint she aspires to get back into jumping and maybe even take up eventing.
