Shockwave Therapy
Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) utilizes high energy pulses of mechanical energy delivered through a hand held probe through the skin for the treatment of a variety of conditions including acute muscle and/or joint soreness, rehabilitation and healing of tendon and ligament injuries and chronic conditions such as arthritis. A non-invasive and effective treatment, ESWT is generally well tolerated and only takes a few minutes to complete.
